The song is about a guy who blows off work to drink and have fun. Now I am not encouraging you all to quit your jobs. However, one cannot deny we have all been tempted to walk out of the office, sail away to the nearest Tiki Bar and have a Hurricane or two! Buffett and Jackson made day drinking something every American shouldn’t be ashamed of. I will drink to that!

Why we love it: Yes, maybe the song is about a couple attempting to cheat on each other. Maybe it doesn’t have the best morality lesson. But who cares? The song is catchy as hell. A go-to karaoke classic, you can’t help but belt out lyrics to the chorus. Although, the popular theory is the song is about cheating I have a different idea. I think this couple was getting bored with the same old things so they both decide to spice things up a bit and put on this elaborately detailed role-play to spice things in the bedroom. Pina Colada for thought? The world will never truly know. Regardless, the song is fun to sing and dance to while sipping a cocktail.
